Introduction to the Canon 40D

The Canon 40D takes great shots right out of the box, but a good understanding of its controls can really unleash its potential. This video shows how the camera's features are designed to work together to capture the best image under all conditions. Each subject has its own chapter, so you can proceed at your own pace. Cut weeks or months off your learning curve. This DVD not only gets you up and running with confidence, it does so in little more than an hour! With an interactive menu, you can review any subject instantly. You'll find that you're taking better pictures than you ever dreamed possible!
Customer Review: easier information on the camera than the manual
These videos are very thourough on explaining the use and setting up of the cameras. much easier than trying to read a manual and follow them. this Video explains the settings and what they are for and under what curcumstances you will need them. very good.
Customer Review: Very helpful book
This was a very helpful book. Had the pictures been in color, I think I would have given it 5 stars. The CD was helpful also. All in all except for only black and white pictures, and having to have a computer handy for a lot of things, it was a good book. Also the price was a bit steep for what I got.

You're not the only one trying to learn Digital Photography, my friend. I don't know about you, but I can still tell you that there are sure fire ways to learn and even become a pro in Digital Photography.

Your first question, I assume, is "HOW?".

Well, here are some easy tips you can use to start taking better pictures with your digital camera:

  • Equipment - Get some better equipment, seriously. Your pictures will drastically improve if you get some better equipment. I mean things like better cameras, tripods, lighting and things like that. Tripods are great because your photos will always be completely "straight", if you know what I mean. No shaking or anything so they're never blurred out at all. This is especially true if you work outside taking pictures at night, it can be a real pain to get good and non-blurry photos.
  • You're gonna hate me for this but... Practice. Believe me, in the long run the one thing that it all boils down to is practice. Sure, there are lots of great courses that will help you learn faster, but you're not going to get better at all if you don't practice.

It does not matter if you're 'on the right track' or not, if you just sit on your bum on the track, instead of running to become a world champion.

You know what I'm saying here? Good equipment and practicing with that equipment will go a long way for you, so the moral of the story is really to take action and do SOMETHING!

Speaking of cameras, you can find out how everyday ordinary people make six figure incomes, "working" from home with their digital camera.

On that site, I cover exactly how you can take an already proven system that makes people $200+ a DAY and then how you can multiply that income many times over with some special techniques. Here's the link again.
