Customer Review: Great Product
Great product I have over 22 gigs of these cards for use in my two canons (a 5D and a 300D)It's easier to carry extra memory cards than lug a lap top around for longer trips. I've never had a problem with any of these cards
Customer Review: Fair price - fair performance
I use it with my dSLR camera (Olympus E-510) and the only difference I notice between this one and Extreme III version is when copying photos to computer using Sandisk Imagemate reader. So it's a solid performer, and so far reliable, no file system problems.

All too often people come up with a lot of misconceptions about professional photographers. They often view them as privileged, having access to people and events others just dream about. They may think that photographers are always flitting off to tropical destinations for photo shoots. They look at photographers and wonder how they scored such a cushy job, just carrying around a camera and shooting pictures all day.

It may be easy to look at photography as a profession and develop that misconception. After all, photographers find themselves in some pretty exclusive situations. Photographers are needed to cover professional sporting events, star-studded celebrity affairs, political campaigns, terrible disasters-they are always right in the thick of the action, clicking away. How can people not be green with envy?

The truth is, photography requires a great deal of expertise and education. Photographers have to accumulate a large body of technical and artistic knowledge to ascend to the height of their profession. Just look at any professional's camera. The number of manual adjustments necessary to get the light and focus right before shooting can befuddle most mortals. The average Joe is contented to set his camera on automatic and never experiment with such things as shooting fireworks against an inky sky or capturing a downhill skier in the dead of winter.

To be sure, photography is a rewarding profession. The ability to take superb photos is highly rewarding in and of itself, and many camera buffs take it up as a serious hobby. With all the possibilities afforded by digital cameras and unbelievable computer programs with which to manipulate photographs, the profession is affording new possibilities all the time.

If you have a knack for photography, professional photography degrees have been the start for many people who are not in a position to attend a traditional trade school or college. Instead, there is a fantastic online program rooted in one of the nation's oldest and most respected photography schools. You can train for a photography career without interrupting your current schedule or breaking the bank. Online classes are a great solution for busy, budding photographers.
